disappointed there’s no “penis quantity” slider

penis2

for that Dwarven look

this is a well established keanu-take of fools and rubes and movie eugenicists who think affectless personalities should be purged from all cinema worlds and and a persons soul should be judged on a scale of animated expressiveness from the terminator - to roberto benigni

Are we outraged enough yet at the 89 metascore this thing’s gonna receive? The more I hear about it the less I actually want to check it out.

The subject of penis sliders is a missed opportunity to have weaponized crotches instead, unless codpiece mods are a thing in 2077

Jeff Gerstman describing it made it sound like GTA + DX:HR dungeons, and, yeah, that sounds like the sort of thing CD projekt would have the resources and sensibility to make. Nothing more, nothing less.

now that it’s almost released i guess there’s no harm in revealing that for the last five years i have been senior gameplay programmer for cyberpunk 2017. we had a lot of ups and downs, as well as crazy times along the way! but whenever things felt low we always got together to try and figure out the one word that defined out project. and everyone agreed in this case that the one word should be, “cyberpunk”.
here are some behind the scenes shots for all the fans out there.

this is the main character’s room. from this place you can log into DARPAnet, speak to companions (and perhaps… more?) or take a nap to restore your Human Meter.

a key goal we set ourselves in development is that your choices should guide the gameplay. one of our programmers is said to have spent over 100 hours contemplating his life choices in this way.

our style for this game was influenced by all the leading forms of Japanimation. we were inspired by the dystopian yet humanistic visions of these classic works.

a wide world of cyberpunk is yours for the taking… leap in, and perhaps we’ll meet someday, in the virtual world ;o)

Does “off” imply no pubic hair, or just an untamed bush

Excellent use of the word “argot.” I’ll bet Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t use it nearly as nicely.

When “suiting up” for a BD, especially with Judy, V will be given a headset that is meant to onset the instance. The headset fits over both eyes and features a rapid onslaught of white and red blinking LEDs, much like the actual device neurologists use in real life to trigger a seizure when they need to trigger one for diagnosis purposes. If not modeled off of the IRL design, it’s a very spot-on coincidence, and because of that this is one aspect that I would personally advise you to avoid altogether. When you notice the headset come into play, look away completely or close your eyes. This is a pattern of lights designed to trigger an epileptic episode and it very much did that in my own personal playthrough.

This game apparently causes seizures! In what maybe perfectly captures the zeitgeist of modern AAA games, a writer at Game Informer had a seizure and then decided to keep playing so that they could write a guide for how to play this game that causes seizures if you are a person prone to having seizures.

Exactly the sort of thing I’ve come to expect.

Isn’t this the kind of thing console games go through weeks of cert to check for?

it’s mostly cert for like, making sure the logos and controller button names are correct, even in vr no one is ever going to write up a “causes motion sickness “ bug

I should have put ‘this game can literally kill you’ on my bingo card.
