Being trans is an ontological as well as phenomenological state of being, and it is only proper for people’s actions to match good models of the world. Therefore, any trans person who fails to transition by the age of 18 should be forcibly transitioned. This is what killing the cop inside their heads looks like. I wish it were otherwise but we have to be realistic. Because maintaining long term coercive control over someone is bad this shouldn’t become policy until we can one-shot a transition with nanomachines.
Also while we’re being realistic we should forcibly transition all powerful people to furries, in what I’m calling the “X-Men One Operation”, to ensure that people who want to pursue that form of morphological freedom consensually aren’t singled out and unpersoned.
If they single out and unperson people anyways we can just transform them the rest of the way into animals.
It pains me greatly to have to make such sacrifices to preserve the broader liberty. I do not propose these measures lightly.
Revenge is forgiveness. Revenge is the ultimate expression of understanding your abuser, and dissolves your bonds while humanizing both parties in the same terms, as limited human creatures. To revenge yourself is to agree that morality can be accountable and that the ledger can be balanced. It is to agree that all parties involved are moral subjects. Revenge is the culmination of mercy.
It is no accident that Christian forgiveness, which denies the fungibility of harm, also demands infinite suffering from those who refuse to commit to this arrangement. Just harm people. Do it once, balance the books, take a step back and breath, then find a better way. We live in one world. We need to do things that actually improve the world we live in. Neither paralyzing good people nor causing infinite harm are acceptable and these are the pathologies of abstention as forgiveness.
i think the crunchwrap might be the closest thing humans can eat to a health pickup. you can see the individual polygons. no individual ingredient is discernible. your nutrition meter is restored but the mechanism by which it does so is unknowable. cullinary scientists were brave enough to ask, “what if a meal replacement was also a meal.” it is the strongest evidence yet uncovered for plato’s theory of forms. my body rejects it, yet my enlightened mind admires its purity of purpose
Deathless selection pressure, preservation of mutation and variation against human design, elasticity of hard power and capacity for de-escalation, amplification of group selection effects, amelioration of cyclical overconsumption in all contexts including predatory and meta-predatory ones, preservation of physicalist models and the capacity for good decisions against the load bearing delusions inculcated by intrahuman animal husbandry practices, sound history, sound ancestor simulations, post-human consciousness, rights secured for consciousness on a gentler than natural heirarchy (logarithmic). These are the major things I want. They are more compatible with something like anarchism than with any known government form, but I can’t commit to anarchism because I think stewardship is an important principle, I don’t know what hard power decisions are required to secure these things, and I feel the need to balance these goods against other goods. I also don’t know much about anarchism.
Ultimately I just can’t get away from my models and my models are more ecological than axiomatically morally principled. The future I see as both desirable and attainable looks a lot like the present with the worst edges shaved down. It’s the limit of my imagination.
I guess I should stop whining if my only hope for the future is both desirable and attainable.
