So, the first gay character has been outed and it’s Tracer, somewhat of a bold but not too bold choice. Some people aren’t taking it too well, naturally.

I’m also better at titanfall 2 than I’ve been at any shooter since I was 12 so this is a bit of an adjustment from the highs of my ego
also I feel neutered playing any character that doesn’t have a no-cooldown mobility ability of some kind

think you mistook my point. I’m not worried about there being more GLTBQ representation or female representation. I’m all for it.
But the presumed strong independent woman just being a lesbian is a bit played. It’s not really moving the needle forward at this point. Literally making Zarya, Junkrat, or Reaper gay would be a more interesting and attention grabbing point.
Sure i’m nitpicking. It’s just another hot lesbian isn’t really doing much for anyone.
i mean Zarya and Junkrat are clearly gay, though i’m not sure how Zarya being gay in canon is any different to Tracer? Zarya’s strong and independent and hot too yeah?

yeah the accents in this game are something
I kind of can’t believe people haven’t complained about how long it takes to get back from the spawn points enough for blizzard to do something about it
that, and how anodyne the maps are, makes this still kind of hard for me to recommend. It can be pretty mushy at times. I like it, but it does feel more moba than fps.
It taking so long to get back from spawn is the point

Symmetra’s teleporter helps that, though yeah it sure is tedious when you’re playing someone with low mobility when teleports aren’t there

yah but like tulpa said, just double the respawn timer and put the spawn point closer, less trudging
