idk, the only other blizzard game Iâve played since brood war was console diablo 3 and that was similarly frictionless. itâs not bad but there sure is a lot of everyone circle strafing and soaking up damage in the same confined space
this game also led me to verify that splatoon is still selling for $75 CAD, hahaha

Compared to quick play/arcade modes, competitive has the same spawn timers, but significantly tightened objective times
This is a better solution since it accomplishes the task of making teamwork more important while still giving a harsher penalty for dying
Instead of maligning the design for something it was never shooting for, you should learn maps for health spawns and/or become a dirty support player

yeah, I quickly got the point about the health spawns and seem to be more willing than most people I get matched with to play healers, but the result is still a little flat. itâs certainly well-balanced but I donât know that I care. even the UI is meh, I barely notice when Iâm taking damage or from where
oh my god it took me ages to even realise there was a cue for Zaryaâs barrier being active, and itâs still hard to see even looking for it

At this point, given how quickly âmuscle woman equals lesbianâ (or even more so, she must be male) was the stereotype hoisted on her by the various fans that canât deal with non traditional femininity, I think it would be almost more interesting if Blizzard made Zarya straight.
But also, itâs silly how much this matters to people. Whining in the internet over losing Tracer as Waifu is pretty high right now.

No idea, really, as I tend to ignore most things Bioware.
It was just really annoying to see a lot of people making a pretty large assumption about which character was a lesbian based on just how she looked, and while I know that for some people, it was an identification thing (like I know there is a contingent of Russian fans who are really proud to have a possibly non-straight Russian character), there were also a whole lot of gross straight dudes who didnât know how to handle a woman in a game that wasnât built specifically to cater to their boring tastes.
Personally to me it doesnât matter because she is awesome, but I would love the shit-storm. I am trying to figure out which of the dudes being not-straight would piss off the worst fans the most, and I think it is either McCree or Reaper.
No matter which character is gay, itâs gonna make someone mad, so why not make The Face Of The Game gay?

I must admit, I thought Blizzards 2clever âfemale adventurerâ joke confirmed Trancer was gay pre-launch so all of this has been a bit weird for me.
She remains my favorite character to play and also my worst character out of the ones I do play lol

this is exactly how i feel about Zarya, and to a lesser extent also Tracer
just like, the concept of taking damage, or covering someone else, to build up your own power so you can wade in and destroy everyone is so sickkkk. and the fact her barriers last like 2 seconds means you gotta think about when you use them! but itâs hard to get a hold of haha

You should play with her whenever they do that Arcade variant where everyone has shorter cooldowns and such. She basically breaks it by being able to shield herself and someone else almost constantly and it is the best. Zarya is so much fun to play as, even in normal games, but she is a ridiculous beast there. I am probably best with D.Va, but Zarya rules so much.

The main reason Tracer being gay is a Big Deal is mainly because this is fucking Blizzard, a company that has historically been one of the worst when it comes to representation. World of Warcraft is my most-pkayed game because itâs big and I have the achievement monkey on my back, but Iâd have to really think for a while to come up with a non-straight character from that universe⌠maybe Anren and Tholo, assuming Iâm remembering their names right? Those two druids from Cataclysm that I canât remember ever having seen again? Theyâve been so bad at this that, when gay marriage was legalized in the US, their Hearthstone twitter account celebrated the victory with a disembodied rainbow-colored fist. (Follow that link for more discussion of how shitty theyâve been.) So, yeah. Having the main face of their game which was just awarded Game of the Year be gayâthe same character that they desexualized after a fan complained about one of the victory poses? Yeah, this is a big deal. Itâs also long overdue! But even if itâs long overdue and really low-hanging fruit in terms of how daring this revelation is, itâs still worth celebrating, if my twitter feed over the last 24 hours is anything to go by.

Oh yeah, i donât think anyone is saying donât celebrate it. Mostly I am just amused by how angry it seems to be making a certain segment of players. If anything, I want more of this.

I mean, only like half to two thirds of the characters even have âmovement optionsâ
