aqua vita

I got a Vita TV because it plus the stupidly expensive memory stick cost less than the handheld. My error is compounded.

Not surprised by this:

I bought a new ā€˜noirā€™ slim for $120 and an 8GB card for $12.50 to play PSP/PS1 games. I have yuuuge regrets. Havenā€™t played ZHP or Carnage Heart EXA yet (waiting on sales), maybe theyā€™ll be redeemersā€¦

Yeah, itā€™ll be great on any of those

Are there any chill puzzle games for the vita? Iā€™m basically out of picross on my ds and I need something to fill that hole in my heart

does puyo puyo tetris count

What is the best way to get a Vita now that production has ceased and prices are climbing?

Kill me.

How much is an OLED worth?

As the only person in the world who prefers the slim Vita to the OLED one, I would like to stockpile a bunch of slim Vitas because my OLED Vita I use for American games no longer reads memory cards, and my Japanese slim Vita is slowly showing signs of the same memory card flakiness.

I like the slim too!

A while ago it had problems reading its memory card, but they went away after a reformat. Is my vita doomed to a sad death? :frowning:

Hack it and get Puzzle Fighter (PS1 or CPS2) runnin on there!

The answer is to import a Vita from Japan, where they recently came out with a new color and still make games for the thing

because no one else will take dumb, cheap anime games. least probably not until the Switch.

I love Puzzle Fighter but itā€™s sort of an action puzzler. Iā€™m looking for something really subdued, maybe almost an electronic version of a paper puzzle. I feel like you could play picross on paper at least? Hexcells is another game in the sub genre Iā€™m talking about.

So weā€™re getting vita Romancing Saga 2 in English? This is the first Iā€™ve heard of this! Nice.

I would be comfortable getting rid of my vita but fuck losing Oh Deer and Tuffy.

My Vita currently has firmware v3.57. If I upgrade it past 3.60, thereā€™s a chance Iā€™ll never be able to install homebrew/pirate stuff. Unless I upgrade it itā€™s really obnoxious to use my games I actually purchased.

Is maybe playing all the Vita in the future worth not really playing what Vita I actually have now?

Thatā€™s why I donā€™t bother with piracy on current gen stuff, besides the ethical reasons, itā€™s often impractical. I only buy a new console if thereā€™s a game on it I absolutely canā€™t wait playing. There is no such game for me on the Vita, which is why I will buy one in a year or two, when the smoke cleared.

It all comes down to what games you need to play. Those old games you could play for free? If they really mean that much to you, why arenā€™t you playing them right now? Just do it, then you can update your Vita without regret. Or just order a second used Vita on ebay, they are getting cheaper every day.

I mean you canā€™t play Oh Deer or Tuffy you might as well throw your Vita into the sun.
