I’m in a weird funk with ACNH. While I’m really happy with the town layout I’ve developed and I’m making (really slow) progress on a couple of projects, the gradual accumulation of things that I need to fix is slowly overwhelming me. There are too many flowers everywhere! I need to create two more custom designs to finish a matched set of seven, and they need to be corrected/polished since the ones I made already are pretty bad! I desperately need to clean out my home storage! I should take the time to think up good villager greetings and quips, so I don’t repeat the earlier error in which placeholder phrases proliferated through half my islanders! Speaking of islanders, I’ve replaced several that I really liked with a bunch that I don’t care about in fruitless pursuit of perfection! And now, I can add that there’s a bunch of out-of-season Halloween stuff I need to clean up!

Has anyone else noticed that the golden watering can waters 9 squares? Is this new? Or did it always do this?
I can only find this documented online for new leaf, so I’m wondering if it was patched in

i feel like Animal Crossing: NH is gonna be like No Man’s Sky for me in that i really enjoyed what i played in the first couple months of its launch and then never touched it again, despite knowing that it is infinitely better now than it originally was.
the drop rate for balloon farming maple/mushroom recipes is dire they really need to at least add them to bottles/villagers

i love the random dream feature. the fun of walking around an island that could be anything is really similar to the good vibes of mario maker, dreams (ha), or just surfing the old internet…except, you know, it’s a neighborhood
