Some tricks to dreams: whatever season and time of day at which you upload your snapshot will be the season and time of day at which your dream visitors experience your island. Visitors can find your character wandering around, and if they interact with you, you’ll say the comment from your passport. I don’t believe your passport is otherwise accessible from within a dream. The bulletin board seems limited in what it’ll display; it definitely doesn’t show official system-generated bulletins, and I think it may not display bulletins with drawing on them. UPDATE: I can confirm that drawings DO show up, per Sleazy’s dog sketch appearing.
Because it’s impossible to bring equipment into a dream (and the gyroid who gave you dream equipment in New Leaf isn’t here), you may wish to put extra traversal tools near your resident services center before you upload your town as a courtesy to visitors, particularly if your island includes otherwise inaccessible areas.
While you can pick objects up inside a dream, you cannot learn DIY recipes, and the items you pick up are not added to your catalog. Nothing you do inside a dream can affect the original island, so feel free to run through the flowers, shake down all the trees, and bask in the lonely atmosphere.

Savannah decided she wanted to dip so I went in search of a new islander today. Ended up on a scorpion island - the most nerve wracking, anxiety ridden 40 minutes of my life. Simon was on the island and I invited him to mine to get him out of that hellscape. Ended up with 17 and called it good.
Is it possible to get a music disc with the same song that’s the always-on song you get before you get hourly music with your resident services building? Can I ask KK to play it and then get a copy?
