Yeah, random dreams have been a real treat, although it’s disappointing when folks build sections of their island that you need tools to access but don’t leave tools out somewhere for you to make use of. I don’t have any areas like that, but all the same I’m putting together an area with complimentary tools and some treats like unused fireworks and bubbles and stuff for once my town is ready to be uploaded again.

the new catalog feature in the nooklink app is actually good for figuring out what clothes/items i have and haven’t bought already even though this should just be in the game ui instead of me needing to hold a physical smartphone

Yeah, “cottage core” seemed barely livable at the best of times, but this season seems harder than ever for folks with spindly paths. I do like how you kick the ball around with a dedicated kicking animation—can kickable sports balls be in our future?

Was able to eke out a lil’ rollspace in my junkpile but getting two “Ohhh! So close” results after trying to follow the up-to-the-ear-lobe rule doesn’t bode well for me getting the full set of recipes. Haven’t had much luck with balloons either so just going to settle for what I have at this point.

that 90 percent line is infuriating just feels bad if it’s that close lemme have it. i managed to get a perfect boy today on my fourth one so i think i’ve figured out how to eyeball it. lot of people are just force quitting before it saves hahaha. almost tempted to use the insane way where you make two of the biggest snowballs, set out a path of ten tiles, then roll over all the tiles with your “head piece” so you will lose the exact amount of snow. saw people counting the exact number of roll seconds: 12 for small/17 for big. every new group of recipes is some kind of new psychological experiment

the slow motion gacha of active balloon farming is weirdly a much closer sensation to fishing than the in game fishing

Oh, that’s a good observation. Speaking of which, I finally crafted dozens of jail bars to set up a balloon corral. Only works at night, but this is the first balloon-distributed event in which I’m even close to getting all the recipes. Reminds me of the efforts I used to take in feng shui furniture layouts in the old games, in a way.
