I need to mention this upcoming Skelethrone: The Prey game not because it is a self-described āchallenging 2D action platformer with RPG elements inspired by games like Castlevania and Dark Soulsā but because it has that art style where everything moves like (in this case creepy) paper dolls and a I hate it.
Anyways maybe you wonāt hate it and care.
Also including a screenshot of different giant arm game because I thought it looked neat.
I donāt think the game itself looks any good, but full points for ending oneās store page description with āIf you like this game, please play other games!ā

i played the (extremely generous) demo for this yesterday and itās a got darned delight. very easy to pick up (direcitonal input + 1 button cover all the controls) and made by a true kinaesthete (i havenāt experienced a tactility like this since my beloved wobbegong land). the levels are right in the sweet spot of being large enough to hide many secrets but small enough to travel across in under a minute if you know what youāre doing, and theyāre full of little optional platforming challenges that will really force you to get to grips with the character.
my one major complaint is that the music just kinda sucks. itās some real clown core honky tonk shit and iām not here for it. this is all the more disappointing because the rest of the sounds are really good. iāve caught myself actively seeking out checkpoints iāve already been through just to hear the happy little whistle.
