Yeah I should be slightly fair they also switched out a lot of the characters from 3-4-5 for 6-0-7.
Bad Ryu Ga Gotoku is still better than like 90% of Video Games so every will have a fun time with the bad game.
I’ve said it in 3 other posts but it has a lot of microaggressions in the name of the game being longer. I did 40 sidequests and I’ve just been trying to do the main story.
Funnily enough I’m fairly sure this article was written BECAUSE I found out about this, as the first quoted tweet is from Dominic Tarason, a follower of mine who tweeted about Cookie’s Bustle after I did lol
There was some other story about some Bulgarian dude claiming to be the true composer of a whole bunch of Japanese PC game soundtracks and it just reinforced my (theretofore) baseless suspicion that a lotta J-PC enthusiasts are just fuckin’ poseurs looking to stake a claim on what may be, like, the final frontier of old timey Japanese gaming fandom
Like my suspicion is still mostly baseless!! I’m full of shit!! But I would NEVER claim ownership of an obscure Japanese game developer’s work!
Both Tetris Effect Connected and Rez Infinite were announced for PSVR2 today. Looking forward to trying those out sometime.
Gran Turismo 7 is also getting VR support for the entire game this time, so that sounds cool. Other stuff was announced but I think most of PSVR2’s launch window games are ports or upgrades of old games.
Sony hasn’t been bankrolling much VR stuff this time around, so everyone I’m aware of has been banking on getting ports into a naked store. It’s a fantastic headset but I’m not sure how they plan to get new software after the initial push.
Yeah, you can see it in the marketing too, or rather the lack thereof. The thing comes out in a month and I don’t think ever even done a video presentation showing it off. It’s very weird how they’ve made a $550 product but don’t seem to show much interest in it. Like, the launch list a lot bigger than I expected but it’s not a particularly inspiring list. It’s coasting on “VR is cool” except now it’s only “higher fidelity VR might be cool”.
i’m so eager for this to come out so my company can have more incentive to drop support for ps4 vr, i can’t take testing that piece of crap much longer
I don’t know who looks at the money fire over at facebook and thinks “yes.” so maybe they‘re deliberately not investing in software, and it almost certainly won’t work with any other software, in which case they’ve got quite the luxury eyetoy
i understand this being a Switch-only thing but man its still a bit of a bummer there’s no native way to play it on PC
for years at this point, i’ve been sending subliminal messages to some friends every now and then in the hope that one day they’ll agree to run a campaign of dokapon kingdom online with me over a PS2 emulator. it’s such a fun game
On a project I’m on we just realized our sound guy who spent the last year as the lead tester has a funky eye. Which explains the headaches. And the screaming when we started on the PSVR2 port, and he went back under the visor.
And the bugs he was logging on the eye tracking features.
I’m doing unsupported physics things in it and it’s never clear if the bugs that keeping stopping me dead are my fault or a new bug caused by a new version or the fact that 5 comes with a brand new physics engine.
