wow lol. i kind of memory-holed this. this was a thing people talked about a lot right as i got into the space about 13 years ago. the website still looks exactly the same. it’s as if the space this was part of didn’t change drastically in that amount of time.
that reminds me of this podcast Another Castle from that era which i don’t even think you can find online anymore. (edit: guess you can find episodes on the internet archive)

it somehow manages to feel slow and start-stop even though games are maybe 5 minutes most of the time
I do appreciate all the free pulls I get for beating up on NPC decks in the game though
edit: more to the point, if you aren’t already playing, you’re looking at hours and hours of level and quest gating before you can play the TCG

I beat Immortality the other night and was reminded of ATTITUDE TOWARDS GIRLFRIENDS afterwards and lemme tell you: that phrase may have been better than any game released this year
