i havent used this thread in a while but i do still watch a lot of these, idk what to do with all the ones i saved in the interim, maybe a playlist? putting too many youtube embeds in a post is maybe a nuisance

anyway heres a recent one

i love playlists of these! i have one:

it was made around the time this thread started and has a lot of stuff from everyone who posted here, although its still very much geared towards my particular proclivities

okay i threw together a playlist, it might’ve gotten out of hand a little

i should probably download all of these at some point since they linkrot like hell, one of them is already a low quality mirror of one of the vids in the first post, which is gone now

incredible series i discovered last night just in time for christmas, and for the edible to kick in. first video is a little too edgy for my taste (a long tradition with this medium i guess…) but after that is six years and 77 videos of increasingly deranged and self-referential ytpmv solo tennis. really magical stuff, i’ll never make a full recovery

Watch this rendered on your GPU @ https://sinms.demo.yyn… – Technical details

  • Real-time visuals written in p5 ++ typescript/glsl

  • Streamed audio made with Renoise

  • Source can be found @ https://github.com/yyn…

  • Recorded in 1080p, upscaled to 4K to fight YouTube’s compression

Screen Recording In short, Node is uncooperative. I hate web. Next time, I’ll probably write a Rust native app, and have proper encoding done. (raylib, save me) Sorry! If you can, I encourage you to watch this in your browser!

fair warning the link for realtime rendering crashes my phone browser, haven’t tried on a “real” computer yet. still compelled by this concept. also contraduct design is a great track even if none of the covers sound as good
