Your song of the moment (Part 3)

Looks like Cashforgold and Sidewalks and Skeletons are also collaborating in a shoegaze project called Soft Siren that’s releasing an album this year.

carl wilson taught alex chilton to play guitar in the late 60s. brian loved his voice and the box tops and so they hung out a bunch. alex chilton went on to cover multiple songs off of love you. thank you for reading

needed some comfort-food and finally gave in and watched KPop Demon Hunters, and of course that was laser-targeted at moi.

Had Golden and How it’s Done already in my hot rotation playlist, but now the third one got me too:

not gonna link it here (if you search for it, your fault, i warned you), but Takedown is stuck in my head now, thanks Sony… Netflix or whoever is responsible for that.

this song has such a distinct Paul Simon vibe, i gotta think Paul McCartney heard one of the early Simon and Garfunkel songs and was like “i’ll give this a try”

ive been listening to be my baby on my record player every fucking day since i got the single in the mail (day before the meetup). i missed two days ago, but i listened to it twice yesterday to make up for it. this song never gets old, infact, it gets better every fucking time

Ohhhh i :zeldaheart: the Ronettes, and (on-brand, but seriously) think this one is better than Be My Baby:

(edit: title is/would be: Gonna quit while i’m ahead)

because who wouldn’t quit while being ahead … as a racing fan ….
