The chopped up and pitch shifted vocals sound so good. I wonder how the effect is done - I’ve heard it before on some Japanese songs from the 80’s too like this one I think is the same effect for the robot’s voice:

Been getting really into this 80’s synthpop musician Anna Domino lately. Her 1988 EP “Colouring in the Edge and the Outline” is amazing stuff… Reminds me of Kate Bush circa Aerial.

I don’t know what this song is about but it has this weird apocalyptic wonder kind of vibe I’m really into:

And I really love this jazzy chillout song about cosmic injustice: “Don’t trust your luck. Luck has never served the righteous…”
