Workflow #2 Printing Magic the Gathering Proxys

I decided that this is a workflow and that everything should be numbered. (#1 was Workflow #1 Legal SNES cart translation )

Requested by @haley

  1. Go to https://www.makeplayingcards.com/ and make an account and be logged in.

  2. Find a cube. Cube Cobra is a great resource. The Cube list I used for my proxy cube was the following: AlphaFrog Vintage Cu… - Overview - Cube Cobra

  3. On Cube Cobra hit “List” then “export” then “text”

  4. Go to https://mpcfill.com/

  5. Hit “Jump into project Editor”

  6. Hit Add Cards, Then Text, Then paste the contents of the exported text file from cube cobra

  7. Painstakingly review the art for each card. There can be 100+ versions per card. This will take hours.

  8. Click “I’ve finished my project” and follow the instructions there. You will have to download a tool and run it. The tool will take 20-30 minutes to set up an order for you at makeplayingcards

  9. Pay
    a. Notes: There are certain tiers of card quantity that are the same price. You might want to add extra cards to fill out the number allowed for the tier you are at. Great time to throw a dual land playset in for proxy legacy night.

The monster is zero.

I know I could probably figure this out by studying the webpages but I also have trouble with numbers sometimes.

About how much would it cost to print a cube?

This was for a 12 person size cube. I think a traditional 360 card cube fits in a lower size tier on mpc.

Remember regardless of what you print, you will also need basic lands to actually run a draft.

You can proxy those too of course.
