Buy a Timex Ironman today.

Since watched how the Whiterose control her time in Mr.robot and 5-minute urban myth from Elon Musk (which he denied it at 2018)

I learned to use 10-minute chunk productivity hack when I need focus, ironnically, it works perfectly for me cause I like to wasting time on everything in every way and every genere. Unfortunately, I never found a good smart watch for doing this, so finnaly, after a bunch of trades on smart watch, here I am, a Timex Ironman, cheap, with an interval timer, beep in every 10 minute.

I’m obsessed with this green dial. Solar + Multiband 6 technology just like my favorite G-Shock. Just wish the watch came in 39mm…

dang, I just dropped my 5300 MTP-S100 and cracked the glass, looking for a replacement/upgrade. wish it came with arabic…

totally opposite but also thinking about the Pluto Moonswatch

almost none of the features I’m after (simple, solar, strong) but I love the colours

only three Swatch stores in the UK have these and one of them is walkable to at lunchtime. it’s so dumb, I’m timing everything now (47.6s to type)

Congrats to that nice moon swatch, i love the color of the dial (maybe it is a white balance thing, but it looks more classy beige and less popping in your picture, or the pristine Advertisement picture is using brushed up lighting effects you don’t have in real life) and the classy lettering.

and no, it’s not dumb, it’s perfect!
You are using it for what this type of (s)watch was actually built for, timing whatever you have to time.

the dial colour is much classier in person than the press pic makes it appear. the dumbness is the acrylic crystal that I will scratch the shit out of in a week. luckily I liked this one and not one of the ones resellers go mad for (holy gods, the Neptune is going for 7-10x retail)

I bought an aftermarket steel bracelet and case for my g-shock, installed it today and think it looks amazing. A bit heavy compared to the original resin case. Maybe I shoulda shelled out for the titanium instead, lol.

Made a trip to the nearest Seiko store today to let them add an element to the wrist-strap of my green Alpinist, and in the mean time, was able to take a real life look at this beautiful watchface:

which in reality is waaaay less flashy than that promo pic would make you think. See here:

Less Gaudy, way more classy. Asking price is ridiculous, even if 800 pcs. worldwide is indeed a bit rare. At least the price helped to prevent falling in love w/ it :tarothink:
Unfortunately, they already sold their sole example of the Laurel

a few weeks ago already, would have loved to see that once in RL as well.

i like the presage dials but i always think the cases would look way too big on my wrist

tbh that’s exactly what i thought as well, until I put on the sharp edged Presage and it felt instantly at home on my wrist. Give i a try I’d say!

Kinda digging the retro flair of this rather plain looking Seiko

Fits really well with darker colors, e.g. black or navy shirts/sweaters, gotta take some pixxx next time I’m wearing it.

OK, Kawasaki raining on the parade by custom-ordering/designing a 100 pcs run for a nerdy biker watch:

my first seiko in years, japan domestic market sbtm217

the scale and case shape reminds me of my old sarb033, which I loved, but I’m just not built for mechanical watches. Instead this has radio wave atomic clock setting and solar quartz movement so it’s accurate as hell! it’s so light too thanks to the titanium case. i feel great wearing this.
