This is damn cool but it also sort of has the same feel as when MMO devs announce they’re unlocking all the best items for everyone because they’re shutting down the game in 3 months.
This has a shot at being one of the best consumer headsets for as long as they make it.
I think this sucker has eye tracking a feature completely useless for anything other than social vr at this juncture.
So I have decided I’d try to sell my fancy Valve Index set with controllers and base stations. Pretty niche product and hard to find anyone who’d be interested in something that powerful and expensive, and I haven’t had any takers except for someone who very nearly scammed me. But maybe someone on SB would be interested?
You probably would not want to pay shipping on this thing, and you’d have to meet me in Bellingham WA. But I’d cut the steepest discount I or even Valve has offered yet to someone here if there’s interest.
I am just now learning that Astro Bot 2 won’t even be a PSVR2 game and I’m just I’m just
truly, truly perplexing!
i feel like Sony and MS are in their 32x/Saturn era right now
it sucks because i do actually enjoy the PSVR2 quite a bit, but like, how and why would they drop the ball like this? it seems like the move to connect to PC is just a way for them to recoup the lack of investment they made into the device, which sucks for me, the person who does not own a gaming PC. is this them encouraging me to give up on consoles?
