too bad all you’ll do in them is shoot people. i’ve been playing a bunch of cinematic shooters recently (never played them much before) and they just make me think “what a waste of an environment”
this reminds me: my dream game is one where you’re just trespassing in various environments (these ones, the woods, dark streets, etc) and have to create makeshift weapons out of stolen stuff (neckties, seatbelts, chairs, etc)
it should feel like uh, the x-files when mulder is somewhere he’s not supposed to be and ‘the government’ is sending guards and armed dudes after him. like a real feeling of existential terror
