I’ve had this song stuck on my head for 20 years, I have no clue where I first heard it, it is driving me crazy trying to find the source, I thought it was from the anime or a commercial but it seems to have originated with the ps2 game I don’t think I ever played??

Maybe I downloaded a real media version of that video, that would make some sense

I’m gonna go lie on Twitter and say that song inspired Katamari

I think it is a good song

You’d probably remember it if you’d played it. It’s gone viral at various eras so having seen it in video form at some point does seem like a likely explanation. ^ _^

I don’t even play DDR/rhythm games, but this song has been stuck in my head for 20 years now, thanks to a birthday party I attended.

Any time anything anywhere involves the words “boom boom boom” in succession, it doesn’t matter what its actually from or referencing, I only think of this song.

The CEO of O3 Entertainment (the company that made Chaos Wars) is Chris Jelinek. The voice-actors in the game include Quest Jelinek, Tyler Jelinek, Kay Jelinek and Lee Jelinek! Yes, Chris Jelinek got his family members to dub the game, rather than paying professional voice-actors.

That really is some top level bad voice acting. : D
