i’ve said this many time before, but: the vita is the dreamcast of the 2010s.
Dreamcast wasn’t THAT horrible a failure. I knew 2 people who had one
i know two people other than myself that had a dreamcast
i am the only person i know who has a vita
my brother called me on the telephone two nights ago, to tell me that he had acquired a playstation vita earlier that day, and that in attempting to hack it he had already bricked it
the only time i have ever seen a playstation vita in person is when, years ago, i bought this same brother a vita for christmas, after multiple phone conversations detailing how cool he thought they were, etc. he quickly flipped it for drug money.
I have a PSTV which I have purchased some games for, and which I have never used to play those games. It’s in a drawer right now.
I bought a Vita in March
EDIT: I also know of a Vita owned by a friend
In 2013 after weighing my options of new video game hardware to buy I bought first the platform I expected to make the most use of, and then the platform I expected to get the second most use out of. I purchased a Vita, and then the WiiU.
Ended up plaything through the entirety of SRW V and SD Gundam GGen Genesis on Vita, so I guess I was right.
Flip it on ebay for a lot of money. Seriously.
Wow, I paid like $40 for that thing I can’t believe they’re worth so much now
i just meant in the sense that it’s mainly owned by anime/arcade nerds, and you can play power stone on it
were there any really interesting/ambitious vita games other than the first gravity rush? it really is such a cool piece of hardware
actually it was probably more than 20 we built a little doorway to crawl through out of the dreamcasts
around 20 is fine thats fine.
i thought tearaway was pretty cool
I was gonna say Wipeout 2048 but that’s on PS4 now, huh.
i would include games that were later ported but at least started as vita games
btw i’m totally including good otome games/vns etc
