They were:

I often wonder if it’s fair to see the pokemon petting stuff that was introduced in like X/Y and can be seen in Let’s Go Pikachu (below) as directly connected to similar modes that were in erotic dating games… Are they the same systems, or is this an ahistoric interpretation somehow? it must be nice to have nostalgia for when times were good…this is literally the best my life has ever been, right now, and i wouldnt exactly say things are super great. but then again i wouldn’t want what fucking videogames i played when i was 12 to be the peak of my life either. much to think about
I wonder if video games have anything to do with my people-pleasing tendencies. Like, I know I have a hard time saying no because I want to be liked and I’m conflict-averse, but also am I just conditioned by a lot of the games I’ve played to have a ton of favors/tasks for other people cooking on the back burner?
