I did like how Billy was a bit self-aware in the later years about the absurdity of their pursuits, so he was kinda my favorite.

Billy was def not my favorite lol esp as he was wearing more of the black rifle coffee club style right wing t shirts in the later videos. he could be funny in some situations but in general came off as a very âdishes it out but canât take itâ sorta guy to me - a common adult male archetype it seems lol. he was the one who edited most of the videos though. also i guess Cousin Chris was way more annoying an actual presence.

When they released Ocarina of Time in Spain, they didnât translate the actual game into Spanish. Instead they just released it in English with a 150 page book where you could look up every line of dialogue in the game and see the Spanish translation.
Latin American countries didnât even get that, and had to deal with it.

Windowsâ âHAGSâ (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling) seems to have been behind audio dropout Iâd been experiencing in recordings lately when both mic and game sounds tried to come through simultaneously in OBS.
Ran my OBS log through OBSâ log uploader/analyzer and it recommended disabling HAGS; did that and it seems (fingers crossed) to have solved the problem (which could be spotted visually as recurring phantom sound activity in the mic widget in OBSâ audio mixer).

that never worked stably for me in Windows 10 from 2016-2023 (or whenever they added it) but I did a new build for 11 in 2023 and I donât think you can even toggle it off any more so either their kernel improved or GPU firmware did

Iâm able to toggle it off; I think possibly the last Windows update for me (I just did that uh 2025 features update thingy âpâ) might have toggled it onâbecause I wasnât having this OBS sound drop-out problem before. I donât know of other software it causes problems with but OBS definitely flags it as causing problems for their program.
yeah itâs pretty far down the list of stuff worth offloading to the GPU, the regular kernel scheduler kind of has to be functioning perfectly at all times for your computer to work anyway and low latency audio sync is actually an extremely difficult problem at the OS level that you donât really want to complicate for no good reason

20 years ago people were making jokes about 3D video game avatars sticking things in and pulling them out of their butt. Today video game characters have magnitudes higher fidelity, and yet their inventory is still up their butt.
