turns out the guy from Los Microwaves worked for sega and did some game soundtracks?
thereâs a bandcamp page of unused vg inspired tracks from the 90s too⌠the sega retro page says he was hired there by lx rudis who was in units and wo also mentions being fired from tuxedomoon. is this how wazmo nariz ended up in a sega commercial?? how deep does the new wave connection goâŚ? my version of michael jackson working on sonic 3 is gonna be finding out someone from nervous gender did the OST to Mr Nutz or something.

Thinking of how the 2002 remake of Resident evil set the mood for all of its areas really well only to be hit with what I can describe as tonal whiplash whenever someone talks in that game.
Everything it does as a Horror themed adventure game is so well executed (exept for maybe how to kill that shark boss, like why would a control panel be able to be moved around like that?) that its baffling to me why they wouldnât just show a bit more effort for the voice acting

the more i watch âold hollywoodâ movies the more i appreciate how a lot of those romantic storytelling tropes persist into the current day (almost a hundred years later :o ) in mutated form as like the shipping dynamics between characters in various videogame series⌠thereâs a lot of 30s romcom vibes in a lot of the final fantasy series imo. also how the nbc hannibal show is like a perfected version of shipping heavy ps3 game writing.

I think a lot about how the N64 was an absolute disaster but the North American market kept it afloat enough that people feel like it went toe to toe with the PlayStation.

Thereâs a special combination of buttons you can hold when booting a fresh install of a Switch game/cart that very specifically boots the game without automatically downloading any redeemed DLC.
This is important if youâre a dumbass like me and redeemed a bunch of the language packs and videos and shit in the Assassinâs Creed and Metal Gear Solid collections.
