according to Mobygames this was composed by iku mizutani and kinuyo yamashita, probably? always hard to tell with gb credits but they both get Sound credit under “Natsume Staff”. yamashita composed the Castlevania soundtrack. this pair probably also did this jam:

guess who did this soundtrack, it’s Jerry Martin of Streets of Sim City (and The Sims, I guess) fame. I’m excited to listen to it more, but it’s very promising right from the beginning

there’s a bunch of synth stuff in there later too? it’s kind of a weird one. Need to get the MP3s and listen to it more than skim it.

The Story of Atria Land 1 and 2 has one of the most jarring shifts in aesthetics. You go from bright, colorful sprites in part 1 to a brown-gray polygonal Western PC mess in 2. There are a lot of like chill “this sounds good because I’m stoned” tracks.
