Marathon 1 music has 2 pretty different instrument sets depending on which version of quicktime was installed, pretty fucking weird. i only ever heard the 1998 version, which honestly sounds a little better to me??? hm

hm actually i take that back, the later versions are cleaner and clearer but in a fair few cases they feel too sparse. leela in particular is damaged by the instrument change

also the mixing is worse in the later version
