I watched her unboxing vid of the YU-NO remake and couldn’t help but succumb to awws and giggles.
Since G4TV is coming back, I guess. Here is a collection of the best programming that channel ever aired:
Good content to fill your screens with
has someone linked the ThorHighHeels channel here before? i feel like it’s very up the alley of the sensibitility of selectbutton, and apparently he also did the music for the recent game Umurangi Generation
Janet posts longplays of arcade games using real hardware and I love seeing the physical setup overview that precedes the recorded playthrough
I wasn’t totally on board with People make games at first but some of their last videos have been great
Amazing interview at the end of this one
oh my god the beginning of this interview is already awkward
“So you are saying this game is not a gambling game?”
“Well, what I’m saying is, there’s quite a few famous people who’ve said ‘life is a gamble’”
damn, this guy
holy shit this is like, actual games journalism?? in terms of actually pressuring a figure in gaming to answer difficult questions based on real research. not used to seeing anything like this in the games space
How had I never heard of this game? Thank God I never heard of this game back in the 2008 recession.
my favorite new GAMER FACT is “the fifth most expensive object in videogames is a fancy egg from entropia universe”
Been binging this channel’s videos over the last day:
While the channel is primarily about introducing anime that would be palatable to someone who entered via Ghibli movies, there are a few videos touching on games that are also excellent.
i’m aware most people here prolly know about them, but i just started watching BIG SARU’s playthrough of metal gear solid 3 and it’s amazing
i am far into action button’s REVIEW of DOOM and liking it. never seen this tim rogers person before, never clicked these videos cause I thought, from the thumbnail, it was another long video game essay by some bookish internet dude and then I learned watching this video tim rogers is like 41. for some reason that is a difference to me.
