Man. This is one of those videos that makes me think “I wish I had the time to make one of those games now”

Really good stuff.

glad to see someone already posted this! It’s a good one!

Watching the first few minutes of this video and finding out the actual content made me laugh so hard

These Majuular Ultima videos are really something.

I want to, but I know his videos are so exhaustive that they almost replace any urge to play the game myself. I want to play Shadow Hearts one day!

Two channels I like playing the same kliknplay game, kind of a Goofus/Gallant situation. The first one, The Rarest Gamer, often posts shorter snippets of obscure PC games of all types, licensed etc. In this comparison, Goofus because its how I would play it, skips the instructions, keeps trying to do a jump that doesn’t work but seems like it should, etc.

And the second, Ragey0, generally posts full playthroughs of smaller/older PC indie and fan games, sometimes (as is the case here) the optional subtitle track is running text commentary about the game. Gallant here for clear reasons. I find subtitle/text commentary really pleasant for video game footage.

from a halo / other bro-y fps game angle i’ve been enjoying Williaso’s channel, he does these kinda mid MST3K-y summaries of game playthroughs (“Totally Accurate Summaries”) but more to the point these very funny Jeopardy style game shows about a particular video game series, but with very off the wall categories and answers (“Completely Original Quiz”)

i watched this when it was in parts but here is a compilation with slightly more corrections. a series that is partially a summoningsalt style style history of world records and part tracking how the creator of tetris the grandmaster is driven insane by creating a game for an audience that only becomes more and more niche over the years

I might have missed if it came up in an earlier part of the video but does anyone know at 1:48 where that high quality footage of the options screen of a supposed TGM2 PS2 port comes from :waynestare:
