I went for graded cuz I live that ‘go big’ and ‘ftw’ lifestyle and got 4-1 (Golshi, Nasty Nature, Darkside Rudolf), 4-1 (Maruzensky, Oguri Cap, NN), 1-4 (Agnes Tachyon, the 2 debuffers again)…felt good.
I thought Digital would do better but oh well. She’s cool still.
of course I go into open because that’s where the sick minds live, we’re all doing the same evil, terrible things to each other and it’s only going to get more hilarious in round 2
conceptually, going all out and doing all the breeding and optimization stuff on a grander scale doesn’t interest me and it probably won’t until League of Heroes a year and a half from now

Also been seeing, I’m going to say hundreds, of these animations that I originally thought were community made, or using a paper doll default from some program, but just seem to be one guy who just became incredible popular.

As has been prophesized, this CM belongs to Sky. That said, I am very happy that my half assed plan to fill my third slot with Vodka has been paying dividends. Almost every time someone has managed to block Sky conditions are right for Vodka to blast through and claim 1st, or get a close enough 2nd that I don’t feel too bad about it.

Checked twitch last night, and saw multiple “umamusume” channels that were just looking over spreadsheets and had been streaming for 6+ hours. A pizza at the pentagon moment for the community.
Meanwhile my strategy of “Eh, this seems good enough” for picking horses for the CM continues to bear fruit. I refuse to work hard.

I think I’ve fully given up on CM training now. I guess I could train a bunch of Goldships until I finally get S Long aptitude on one of them, but, eh.
I have absolutely given up on CM training.
I’m still watching videos on strategy, seeing people develop ~the triangle strategy~ to slingshot a slower front runner ahead using a runaway Suzuka, but it seems like everyone has collectively agreed that CMs come too quickly in global for any sane people to actually build for them.
So I’m falling back on the old reliable: I’m winning with my oshii.
