UFO 50

i know he’s kind of the mascot for the whole enterprise, but I really don’t like the design of the ‘pilot’ guy. i’m not sure what it is about him. still haven’t even played pilot quest.

Not actually sure, but Pilot Quest just isn’t an awfully exciting entry. I would’ve selected one of the cooler games probably like Rail Heist or Mini & Max

I find him kinda creepy, but in a charming way

his main skills seem to be crashing and exploiting the locals i think canonically he’s a pretty shitty pilot and person

The nozzlo quest really rubbed me the wrong way. Dude just wanted to mind his own business and you literally hunt him down to kill him in cold blood and steal his stuff

Pilot Quest is funny to me, because it feels like they intentionally made a game with all the worst current overused game design tropes, dark patterns etc, since it’s basically a roguelite clicker survival / crafting game with mobile game style energy system.

I like how crafting the ingots and science material is like comically impractical to the point of being useless

Mooncat 3D sequel that has the same approach to bizarre control scheme but almost nothing else in common with the first game would be great

How would you approach making an equally hostile control scheme for a full 3D game?

Waldorf 3D sequel IMO

  • Can’t walk, must jump
  • the left stick controls the direction of your jump
  • the right stick controls the height of your jump
  • you jump like in 2D Waldorf’s Journey (hold and release button), using the right trigger
  • No UI elements to help with the jumps

Nice.
I was trying to figure out 3d Waldorf earlier.

I wanna see all the Overbold monsters in 3D.
