it specifies 2020 and the vr thing was already known about for awhile before the time of this tweet
No voicework, or even any character likenesses beyond Bobsphere. The VR thing is the most absolute Minimum Viable Product game I’ve seen; it’s six barebones recreations of six environments. The sheriff’s station has you following developer audiologs because they don’t have character voices.

yeah letterboxd lists this as released in 2017 but it was only shown at like one film festival once that year, so it hasn’t really been public at all.

That dude is a totally random “freelance film critic” and the tweet is barely engaged with. Is there any particular reason to believe he’s got any special info on Lynch’s activities?

I don’t get what’s up with this person in particular, but there has been some rumbling since the fall that Lynch has been ramping up to do something again. With Frost in tow. Which does make sense, considering the amount of buzz and acclaim he got last year. I think the only other time he’s had such high-profile recognition was with Mulholland Drive. So considering the fallow period he was in for pretty much the prior decade, it would make sense to capitalize on that and get weird while the funding is plausible.
