i want to believe it could still be good
best ep since Palestinian Chicken
sad that lizzy caplan isn’t returning but even though she is great i kind of feel like she’s the most expendable. i was afraid it was going to be jane lynch, which would have been unacceptable
I feel like the premise and tone of this one is way better suited to the decade-later relaunch treatment since it was all about life not working out like it was supposed to and being forced to endure again the same hell you thought you’d escaped
Gdi Netflix. This feels real cynical given recent events even if the showrunners were probably acting independently.
I would be lying if I said I’m not interested, though.
see below lol
Don’t do it to yourself.
what the fuck
(thanks)
i mean on the one hand this looks bad but not as bad as i thought it might be;
however, that scene with Ed is…unreal.
All the panache of Foam Adventure, thanks Netflix, keep digging that hole
this feels like the Tank Girl movie
Yeah did a French guy make this? This smells French
This feels like the cruel hybrid of a syfy original series and a skit at a local anime convention
couldn’t tell if this clip was a bit or straight, did they make a show that was its own spoof. all these signifiers floating untethered
I… didn’t hate the new Cowboy Bebop. Which is remarkable, really, considering how dearly I hold the original to my heart. A lot of the dialogue is bad, yeah, but there were some stupid bits in the original, too.
Mustafa Shakir’s Jett Black absolutely steals the show, imho. At the very least, somehow he feels the most Cowboy Bebop whereas everything else is sort of just off.
lol
Not to mention Michiko Yokote, who wrote nearly as many episodes. Just those two women wrote 17 of the show’s episodes.
Aya Yoshinaga wrote one of the best faye episodes too iirc.
Only 8 episodes of Cowboy Bebop were written by men.
