was the fake sky in the corn room not there to simulate sunlight and make the corn grow?
she thought it was the real sun until she was six!
vitamin a is the one thatās concentrated into lethal doses in the livers of carnivores, which you should never eat unless you want your skin to slough off
This was me when they showed the Nuka Cola vending machine in the vault in I think the second ep? I immediately said to Jason, āHow does that get restocked???ā
Otherwise we are on ep 5 and Iām loving it, even if the gore is REALLY over the top. I also wonder how alienating the show is for someone completely unfamiliar with the games. There are a lot of things shown or mentioned with no dialogue to flesh it out so if you hadnāt played the games you wouldnāt know what was going on.
my brother and other friend have never touched a fallout game and they love the show
just finished episode 6 love that Matt berry came back in the flesh
I watched some of the Fallout show the other night after a coworker talked about it. Iāve never played any of the video games, though of course Iām vaguely aware of the basic premise. The show is entertaining so far. It gets silly at times but not in a way that ruins it.
the silliness is videogame humor in a way that actually works Iām still not over how good this show is!!! CAN YOU TELL
I laughed out loud whenever characters started going through the pockets of people they just killed because theyāre just doing player character loot all corpses behavior
THE LOOTING IS SO GOOD
TOOTH BULLETS!!!
iām notoriously terrible at watching tv, so iām still only 2 episodes in but: real sets and costumes all over the place! wow!
Yeah i know Iām overthinking it, i just get so tickled at the references and then think how others will just miss it. But that is any media based on something!
I want to see a deathclaaaaaaaaaaw
Iām also very glad they got the rights to use almost all the same music as the games.
all the cg on peopleās faces is the worst part⦠the sets and costumes are so good JUST USE PROSTHETICS
The whole scene by the pool with Matt Berry describing the future of everything interchangeable with the word āproductā really felt like a reference to the Dustin Hoffman film The Graduate with its pool party scene and the word āplasticsā
Got the same vibe later with the guy who said the future was management to the point that it felt like Cooper was being forced to sit through the same scene twice
When the brother did the hacking mini game to get into the computer in the seventh ep we both about screamed. Might be my favorite moment
OH I NEED TO YELL ABOUT THIS BECAUSE ITS THE COOLEST EVER THE FUCKING EELS DOT WMV LADY WHO GABE BIRTH TO PIRANHAS AND THEN GOT EATEN BY THEM!!!
AHH THERES ALWAYS SOME NEW FACTION SOMEWHERE
My parents have found the 2010s show Person of Interest and they love it and it is just so horrifying to me. The entire premise of omniscient surveilance machines and secret algorithms telling the government when thereās going to be a crime so they can go prevent it, and itās presented as not only an unvarnished good thing, but itās good that there is a backdoor that a tight knit vigilante squad can access to get pre-crime info about things not big enough for the feds to worry about. Everything about this show is a sickness.
I looked up the story to this show a while back, and it may be a comfort to know that at the end of season 1, the machine is the main antagonist of the show.
