This game rocks. English translation was never necessary to play and enjoy it but if that was stopping anyone from playing, now there is no reason to avoid it

parun’s honey and swallowtail (2005) is being translated
this is from like 7-8 years ago but i had never heard of it and it isn’t in any of my rom collections
https://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_3D:_Director’s_Cut
Sonic 3D: Director’s Cut is a hack of Sonic 3D: Flickies’ Island made by Jon Burton, founder of Traveller’s Tales and the game’s original programmer, with the goal of expanding the game with new content to increase replayability and to fix long-standing issues that the game has been criticized for.
yeah it’s a neat thing to exist, but sadly i still do not like this game lol
This was one of a handful of games I owned for the Genesis before a neighbor spilled koolaid on it. I thought it was really cool for how weird it looked compared to other things on the system.
the amazing psx hot air balloon sim just got a translation!
English translation of Prisoner, an adventure/RPG published for PSX in 1999. Does anybody know anything about it?
All I know is the company that made it, Mainichi/Feycraft, or at least the same guy, made a couple of Mega CD & Saturn exclusive games and they/he apparently have a cult following, which is the kind of thing that always interests me, even though those games look like shit. But this game does not look like those games, and I don’t know if that guy was involved. So I guess I’ll play it & see what’s up.
oh hey this site is now ready
Was curious, is this a different group that is picking up where romhacking.net left off?
This site is made by a bunch of former RHDN staff (the people Nightcrawler was paranoid about).
this game was a good feature of one or two of the sb kusoge tournaments
this is neither a translation nor a romhack but it is very cool
Would love for one of these RHDN competitors to have an actual better layout than RHDN–whose layout isn’t great to start with. ; ) Romhack.ing copied RHDN’s database but their base page for a game doesn’t let you sort files associated with that game by type or date; you can do that through the site’s Advanced Search form but it’s a bit of a pain…ah and search configuration / results can’t be bookmarked. Ack.
Oh well at least it’s a mirror for RHDN’s downloads in case RHDN itself goes down, that’s good to have.
Update:
Oh wow they sure did copy RHDN’s database, even my old RHDN romhack reviews showed up registered to my romhack.ing user account of the same name I just made, yikes. ; ) Anyway I posted my little feature requests in a relevant thread on their forum. : )
