Hell yeah! Did you know that quite a few of the Baroque staff had their start working on PC Engine STGs like Seirei Senshi Spriggan, Override, and God Panic: Shijō Saikyō Gundan? I think that’s unique for a team making an RPG.

yep! and kazunori yonemitsu himself is the creator of madou monogatari and puyo puyo (i believe he worked in some capacity on some compile stgs too but i’m not sure). MM is also a first person dungeon crawler, but it’s still a remarkable background. i love baroque, i might make a thread just for it when the saturn patch comes out.

someone made a better translation of ace combat 3 (aka half the game isnt in japanese still), translated the bonus disk that came with the soundtrack and the manual as well, plus now its in italian and spanish
also this 30 min VHS tape of LORE (about project aces and otherwise)
happy 24th birthday ace combat 3! nothing else comes close!

Nice! I’ve been bingeing their podcast and just listened to an episode where host Lewis who was editing this (20% complete at the time) was talking about it:
what claims to be the first ever commerically released czech videogame has been translated into english
(i’m only cushioning that claim because 1994 seems very late. i know there were zx spectrum clones being made in the soviet union, so it doesn’t seem impossible that there’d be czech-made games for that. but i’m only guessing)
