Yeah I got mine for like 50 bucks from Amazon.co.jp. The disc version also includes some extra content that was released as DLC for the digital version, including a Virt version of the soundtrack that is pretty good, though not as good as chibi-tech’s Dangun Feveron mixes.

Port is good so far. Not sure on what the differences are between the modes, but even if they are minimal, that is OK. New soundtrack version (the original is there is good) is good, but you also probably will want to mess with the EQ settings (bless you M2) in the audio to make it sound a bit better, as it is clearly tuned for an arcade setting and sounds a bit weird over just TV/Switch speakers.
Also the weird “dress up and get pets and such for ESPRaDe characters” mode is actually the tutorial mode to teach you about stuff and let you paly tiny segments of levels and that is pretty alright. Haven’t messed with it much, tbh, because I didn’t have a phone handy for quick translations.

This isn’t quite as good as the Dangun Feveron HUD that pulses to the beat and has dancing robots in it, but it still is great.
