I love how Eastern Europe is so frequently a punchline to a lot of discussions about essentialism
I’m not sure it’s been good overall for the mindset of Eastern Europeans (nor should it be taken to trivialize the discussions themselves obviously), but it’s a very endearing gut check
Tangentially, speaking of 6’3" ladies, despite the character’s canonical height I want to see Gwendoline Christie play King. She somehow seems so perfect, and the height only contributes to that. Bonus if you get some average-to-short, goofy guy to play Ryo.
The idea of King towering over Ryo, and him being really into that, and Takuma being super weird about how big and sturdy she is, it seems to play right into the existing character dynamics.
other m was already dead to me but now it doesnt exist anymore im sorry. 5’3? NO. NO. I WILL NOT IMAGINE SAMUS NEEDING HELP REACHING THE TOP SHELF! quit it brain!
Samus seems to have the kind of job where it’s probably very difficult to maintain relationships and you have to be comfortable being isolated for long periods of time, I feel safe saying that Samus does not fuck.
i dunno if anyones read ‘memoirs of a spacewoman’ but that book reminds me of the way samus probably handles interpersonal relationships
not as much romantic ones because the woman in Memoirs isnt a queermo, but the way her job alienates her from people so she has to embrace alien relationships is great and helped me form better fanfiction for samus
shes the woman version of the death stranding guy as far as people getting intimate with her goes
yea considering i have issues with 98% of ppl touching me and am repulsed by most forms of intimacy samus being a deep space bounty hunter who spends all her time in a ton of armor and doesnt talk to people for weeks at a time is definitely relatable
Was going to write a whole post re: The Modern Union Suit and how as an average height but beyond-average-circumfrence amab I was never able to find one with a flap In America (always just a gap over the butt with a few snaps or buttons holding the sides together)* but it seems that in the years since I sought these layering options
