This made me sort of learn what “Wordle” is, after hearing that name many times. I guess it’s basically the same thing as that “Jumble” puzzle that’s been in the newspaper since before any of our parents were born.

But I gave up a couple steps after that one.

i cheated at the chess one by using a chess solver and the next-next rule (rule 18) is VERY FUCKING FUNNY so here’s the solution: Be5+

You are clearly meant to use a chess calculator, that’s not cheating! But also I’m quite sure it generates random chess problems each time so your solution won’t be universal

And for the record it won’t accept my notation either and I don’t know why

Oh no, mine starved

I think the chess doesn’t work if two of the same pieces can move to the same spot. I had to restart once. It is indeed randomized

Is this the fire one cause that was my favorite

i actually think that it uses the same chess problem every time because of the next-next rule of needing to have the atomic number of all the elements in your password add up to 200 which it exactly matched once i made the P in Pepsi lowercase

EDIT nope i’m wrong the other elements that made this work are also randomize,d it was just dumb luck lolol

IG OT THIS TOO AND FUCKING CACKLED

Fucking Paul! Is so fragile. Fucking. Paul.

Yeah it’s definitely robust enough to simply always have solutions available for randomness in the rules. For example the Roman numeral rule is always 35 so the solution is always VIIV, which sets a floor for the atomic numbers of 152, but the “200 atomic number” rule gives enough headroom, and there’s an element for each number, such that you’ll always be able to find a solution even if you are obliged to use a couple other capitals to satisfy other rules that are also elements

you can also use XXXV which lowers it considerably, but then later it makes you paste a URL for a youtube video of an exact length and the one I got had I and U in it so that raised the baseline to 145, then the V is 23, and the country i got was India which is 49…so I had to do another needle in a haystack search for a different youtube video of the same length and then i accidentally overfed paul

how the hell do you find a video of an exact length

I have yet to use a chess calculator and I keep hitting a wall because of the youtube video rule and starting over

oh you don’t have to capitalize the country, actually you should avoid capitalizing anything you don’t need to precisely because of the Roman numeral and element interactions
