lmao
I got lucky lol
It was actually one second longer than the requested time but it still worked, so that might help. You can also search by length in Youtube but only ālonger than 20 minutesā kind of broad searches. Still, that rules out a lot of things.
But yeah so far itās my least favorite of the challenges, it does not seem like thereās a good tool for this. Maybe Iām wrong.
I was trying to do this on a phone with scant RAM, so there was an always present background challenge of not letting the game reload. goddammit whatās wrong with that chickenās gizzard
hot youtube video searching tips
if you get something like ā26 minute and 37 second videoā, you can search for either under 27 minutes or 26 min 30 sec, very likely to get a workable result without too much scrolling
the latter works because there are entire channels just uploading videos of countdowns for every 30 second interval (and these videos are usually a few seconds shorter or longer than what they say)
also, use shortened links to make your password easier to manage
Had a lot of fun with the country one and quit after stupid Paul died in a stupid fire because itās hard to do on a phone. Is the country randomized too? I went to what looked like the Albanian hillside with a defunct prison . Spent a good amount of time looking around. Great game
yeah the country is randomized too
Late to this but canāt get past rule 13. Does it want the raw text for the emoji or no?
Just google the emoji and paste it
I always drop out at the youtube one
with the power of my wife and i combined we got to rule 35.
rule 35 is āyour password must include the current timeā. we had super low numeric rolls for the hex code, youtube link, and chess solution ā even then, we would have had to keep feeding paul for a few more hours until it was either 00:00 (if it takes 24-hour time) or the early parts of 1 oāclock in order to have a low enough time to fit in with the rest of all the numbers that were mandatory for our run. feeling very miffed and grumpy that we could put so much work in and get a big middle finger in our face just because we played at the wrong time!
some advice for future runs:
-always keep paul very visible or else you will absolutely forget him. i donāt know what the limit on overfeeding him is other than that itās possible; we would give him five at a time and refill him when he was down to two worms to basically give us a minute of uninterrupted thought/action while still having a 40-second buffer
-definitely re-roll the captcha until it doesnāt have a number in it
-for a leap year you can use a very low one like 12 or 20
-for the hex color, you can find it in rgb in the pageās source code if you inspect the element; from there you can run it through a converter to get the hex
-when you have turn the font sizes of your numbers into their square roots, leave notes to yourself (in a notepad doc or something) as to where the super small numbers are (i.e. āthere is a 0 to the immediate left of the chess notationā)
for a leap year, you can use 0
The first time I tried this, I was able to rotate the view down and saw the latitude and longitude coordinates. This time it didnāt. This could be literally anywhere. Does everyone just write down the name of every country they can think of until it works?
mine was lucky enough to be in a national park with a sign for that park, so it was a matter of googling it. However I deleted the egg thinking I could delay the feeding section, which gave an instant game over
ok the video thing may be insurmountable for me
when I got to the egg thing I basically was like āI can hyperfixate on this for a whole week or give up and go about my dayā and I chose to do that, having lost several days to Clicker Game Du Jour
look at my spoilered tips upthread, the video is a lot more manageable than it seems at first glance. you can be up to 1 second off, as well
