I used to be able to paste a dropbox link in a post and replace “dl=0” with “raw=1” at the end of it and the image would automatically show up but that doesn’t work anymore? well it does but only while I’m editing the post. this was my way around file size limitations but…
ok, if you replace the “https://www.dropbox.com” part of your link with “https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com” you can get the hot linked images to show up like they used to (under 50MB apparently!) and I think you still have to change “dl=0” to “raw=1”
when i try to upload a picture from my phone now it just makes the page refresh instead? this wasn’t an issue as of twenty hours ago so if nothing changed in between just assume it’s my fault somehow
When I try to put any links in my post there’s a 403 error and it won’t generate a preview.

I’m not able to un-blood-potion posts that I blood-potioned, like, 18 hours ago–I get a circle-with-slash-through-it mouse pointer icon when I mouse over the blood potion icon in those posts.
I don’t remember this happening before but maybe I’ve been overlooking it.
I AM able to un-blood-potion posts that I’ve just now newly blood potioned.

Something I learned today is that if a moderator breaks off a thread it turns your notifcations for the new thread back on.
This isn’t actionable just something I experienced.
Edit: okay in normal the split thread is muted but the notifcation exists. Hmm.
I broke my blood potions and now they’re all hearts!
sorry about that – I noticed no one had pushed an update through in months and tried to do that and one of our plugins is breaking upstream as usual. so now the update is half-done and I have to go do something else for a bit before I can finish it.
in general if people start having a lot of discussions about opsec I am going to go and bump the kernel version

looks like some of our interface overrides have gone out of date as usual so @villain fire at will but the backend is repaired
