i do not know how stuff works but would it be possible to toggle avatar size no matter what theme you’re using? i’ve been using chewing soul for years but just changed it to something more nostalgic. avatars are smaller now tho ._. i change my avatar constantly but i like the idea of everyone’s being at least 350x350. also i’m a little drunk so sorry if this makes no sense.
i don’t have an answer to your question but i love the idea that villain made the avatars on chewing soul extra big for daphny’s sake

For me they’re the same size in Chewing Soul as in Default and my usual, mauve’s Blue.
just making a note that i’m mindful of the deadline in a week for this and plan to get to it this weekend. i do not have a timeframe for restoring the old database if it needs to be containerized, but we’ll preserve the db for that project

last night i spun up the droplet from the backup from 4/27. i still need to grab the db from it (and work on restoring it/containerizing the archive lamp stack) but no imminent risk of data loss. plan to grab the db this week so we can spin down the droplet

FYI i also disabled digest emails sitewide after the flag got reset for everyone. very few people (none as of a month ago) are opening site emails and i’ve only ever seen complaints about the digests so i used that flag instead of figuring out how to roll back the preferences per user. other emails for DMs, etc. should work the same

Wow. Hitting everyone supporting the reach of your platform right in the wallet sounds like commercial suicide. If it came from anyone else you’d call it a bizarre decision–but with Musk it’s more like par for the course.

they want that, or to whitelist secure components from platform.twitter.com and embed their modal and whatever tracking it comes with

is there any reason the forums no longer work on chrome for me. everything is just frozen and I can’t click on anything.
sometimes chrome goes dumb for me and I update/restart it, or force it to reload the site without using cache
I do not have this problem across various devices using chrome.
it will work if I open an incognito window, but not otherwise. the console thing turns up this error 17 times:
