the next posts have the usual youtube embeds. )
I assume the YouTube auto-embedder just ate shit for a while.
My other theory is maybe it’s one of those videos where they turned off your ability to play it outside of YouTube proper.

The YouTube embeds in the early posts of the Videogame Music Thread
are invisible; you can see them if you do a full content quote of the early posts, many of which just look like empty posts.
And it explains why for instance in the OP @Gorblax said the rule for the thread was that every post had to have a piece of your favorite music–but then apparently didn’t post one himself in that post. But he did, it just isn’t visible now.
bizarre! i’ve gone through the first few dozen and rebuilt the HTML so they should work now BUT i should be sleeping rn so i’ll continue tomorrow if applicable

i have not found any issues introduced by the discourse upgrade but please post here if they crop up
this isn’t a bug just related to the update so i wasn’t sure where to drop it–i don’t think having a high score in your notifications is brain-healthy

I think since I have bp notifications off I don’t see that. So it seems possible to hide it and maybe modify the conditions under which it is hidden so you can keep the notifs on?
it’s “unread” blood potions – you can clear it by hitting “dismiss” at the bottom of that tab, might need a refresh in some cases
OK thanks to haley for testing this with me – when we upgraded discourse it still showed old would-be-dismissed blood potions in that count but going forward they’ll dismiss as before from both the general bell tab and the blood potion specific tab at the same time
Unless this is just on my end it appears the news post has become unpinned?
