As the biggest Shenmue Fan on This Forum and maybe the greater internet I can tell you: Walking around incredibly realized Yokosuka and Hong Kong is the thing these games have going for them. The story in Japanese and English is pretty bad. But if you want a game walking around those areas hellll yesss.
And I will buy these day one and whatever big stupid special editions they make because I am Rudie and I gave Yu Suzuki X00 dollars for Shenmue 3 with zero expectations.

Oh hey I played this at an event like six months ago. It astounded me how much animation was taken frame for frame from Dark Souls. That seems to still be the case but in this game you attack with the facebuttons and use items with the triggers completely different.
