Among other, less i-can-share-with-you news, The Moon Fields made PC Gamer’s PC Games of 2018 list. It’s like two spots above Soul Calibur 6 and I suspect it’s because SC6 kept the supers from 5 and that’s just gross.

Matt comes off as like halfway to being a cranky old Fox News dad there, which is pretty funny. His complete lack of knowledge of any social scene around gaming is pretty weird (like I have no idea what he would think of any of the SB gatherings, for example, because his constant point on gaming is that it destroys actual social interaction). But it is a pretty good listen.
I like this virtual assistant way better than the others

I mean, he’s wrong but he’s also right. There is a segment of people who play games for whom games definitely are what amounts to an addiction that cuts them off from legitimate social interaction. It’s just not inevitable, or even a majority, which was Virgil’s rejoinder.
yeah, this was actually a good show! none of the arguments were really surprising or novel but they kept it fun and sensible for two whole hours which is saying something
