also for some reason we localized the games in reverse order
I might’ve already said this, but my theory is that Falcom was considering a release of Zwei II for Vita, and in accordance with the established laws of the universe, an English script and advertising campaign - both of which ignored the existence of a previous PSP entry in the series - came into being. Falcom decided against the Vita port but chose to make use of the spontaneous localization.

Hahaha I was going to do a “You want to talk about racism?” fake quote to play off on that but then I clicked on the article and it was literally the very next thing he actually said. It was even going to be an “I work with [black person] who does [civil rights activism]” type quote but he beat me to the punchline by saying those exact words. I would have taken it one step further and mentioned the colleague as having once attended a rally led by Martin Luther King, Jr. since it was MLK day but alas.
Bravo, David Cage. I’m in stitches. If only your games were as entertaining as your interactions with the press. Now I would to play a David Cage game where you play as David Cage trying to defend himself from criticism. Every choice you make about what to say is always the wrong one and the game is just an hilarious series of fail states.

Yeah that doesn’t even work as a shit defense. She didn’t out herself as gay, until long after the game, right? *I feel like that was 2015 or '16, that she came out. Beyond Two Souls released in 2013.

Ellen Page also publicly considered suing Cage’s studio for putting a model of her nude body in the game in contravention of their contract. She’s literally the last person they should bring up when charged with mistreating female associates.
