Yeah the third party stuff they’re bringing over is pretty sweet so far but I’m still waiting on Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD or (hope against hopes) Devil’s Third.

are you sure about no mouse controls? Most English sites are reporting the same info: it’s got a new control scheme to use with the DS4, but mouse is also supported.
but even if you can use a mouse, wouldn’t it also be ideal to use a mobile device for the touchpad? Maybe they’ll make an app, or let you use voice commands.
oh word? I watched the trailed and briefly looked at the website and didn’t see it mentioned anywhere so I just assumed, since no PS4 games other than MMOs support mouse afaik. Maybe it was in a press release or something. I’d be pretty happy with that actually! It’s not even the sort of game where mouse players would be at a huge advantage even, I’d like to think…
uhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHAAAAA
u ok fam
why are they doing Dreamcast controllers but not 3D Saturn pads
Hokuto ga Gotoku/Yakuza-Fist of the North Star crossover gameplay
still amazed how much I want this
I don’t think there are going to be english subtitles in the JP or Asian releases though
IMO
also: Re: Total War: 3k
It’s hilarious how deeply this game will probably be scrutinized by the 3k die hards, I’m all for it
It’s exciting to be getting a game with this setting that can break away from the koei-verse
But I really wish someone would do a 3k game that wasn’t so beholden to the narrative/aesthetic of the novel (visual representations of 3k stuff are typically based on Ming-era illustrations and theater design stuff and have nothing to do with actual medieval costumery &c., the triad of Liu Bei/Zhang Fei/Guan Yu is not particularly important in actual historical terms, uh, generals weren’t actually on average a foot and a half taller than everyone else afaik, and so on)
nobody wants to play as a five foot tall guan yu, you peach garden oaf
man I hope someone decides to pump money into a proper macross game next
I wonder if matt thorson really dislikes konjak or something
Konjak’s game doesn’t look that similar to me. From what I can see, Celeste is a very pure platformer with a haunting quiet vibe, and Iconoclasts is full of comedy and bosses. “Indie games” is a big enough space now that I don’t see them as competing.
All I’m asking is that significant resources be devoted to simulating the perils of swamp-based combat ok
