Eh, doom is so dated. It would be simply a rudimentary tool. To cover some ultra specifics, for an already trained audience. Even then, things like “America’s Army” have proven that the military indeed has more modern stuff up and running.
I can see the idea here, behind this new thing. Its way more immersive and feature laden. It would be an exponentially better tool to train regular people on how to handle themselves in situations. Especially if they made a VR version. Many pleople flip out with VR, for relatively stupid games. A VR of something like this, would be a pretty darn good tool.
the upgraded Vive they announced today just makes me want to recommend the Lenovo Explorer even more, if anyone’s still eyeballing VR stuff – it’s more comfortable, cheaper, doesn’t require base stations, and has a higher FOV than most of the other headsets on the market. anecdotally the controller tracking and the contrast aren’t quite as good as the mainline gaming products but I haven’t been disappointed at all.

so, bucking the trend of video game themed pages disappearing and getting lost to the test of times, a good friend of mine did put up his old website again, which made me all nostalgic when surfing 'round. The forums were a small but with nice people, some of them becoming good friends (for life!) in the process.
We’ve played a lot of RPGs back then, and i did pick up & finish Suikoden 1,2,4 and Seiken3 (among many others) due to his influence.Hell, we even figured out after a short while that we actually lived quite close together, so seeing this website being up again is something that I wanted to share with the elders of the internet of SB, since you might have stumbled upon it in the past.

no teen gohan or trunks or tenshinhan or ginyu (and I’d gladly have traded buu or the new villain for the last two) but otherwise the beta has pretty well all the interesting characters!
Beerus looked like a ton of fun in the trailers so I’m ready to kick balls of energy around like I’m playing billiards.
