Do the stages ever move forward and into the screen? There’s so much depth implied in this hilltop shot:
unfortunately not. but in one of the other screenshots you can see the boss of that stage, a giant airship crashing in flames after being defeated. it does so while flying away from you and it really looks spectacular
Mitchell did some wild stuff ^_ ^
here’s this week’s post, and next week’s post is already written. it also seems that my posts are getting more attention generally. and once i release the ol’ 90s cartoon book, who knows what could be next?
I remember this one, one of the first abandonware titles I went for, was hoping it would be a good arcade experience.
it’s so disappointing, especially with how great it looks
the youtubers are gonna love this one
I think I would love this.
so much galaxy oddity stuff in this week’s game
there are STILL lots of ps1 games to discover!
I realized this when I considered the same “catch everything” approach to playing the PS1 library that I’m taking with the PC Engine. The PC Engine had around 670 official releases. The PS1 had around 7,910. Going at my current rate, it would take almost 10 years to see everything from that.
i have, in the past, watched such videos for the ps1, saturn, snes, mega drive, mega cd, and other formats
one for all the train perverts this week
that weird pokemon game your friend bought on holiday
the last years of the pc engine really had some miraculous games, like i guess everyone will discover starting next month
it’s not puzzle bobble, but it’s really really close to it
an ancient rpg that’s actually somewhat fun to play
