pretty neat show! it is straight up a sequel to (the) suicide squad and the peacemaker tv show so i guess basically the thing that is not canon in the new universe is all the justice league/batman/superman stuff. weird to think they are hiring the voice actors in animation with the thought of playing the same characters in live action eventually. if you like the rest of james gunn’s dc stuff this is more of that but slightly more dramatic
mcu fans are complaining that the what if cartoon “wasted” time introducing howard the duck’s half human lovechild voiced by natasha lyonne who immediately after being born kills thanos which is of course the only element of the season i care about
Episode 5 hit my nerd buttons right by having the evil scientist guy’s HUD use the Chicago typeface, implying that his techno empire is based off of pre-OSX mac technology, or Square’s in house SNES developing platform which also used apple’s default installed fonts.
Probably not, seems extremely unlikely they will bring any of the other broader MCU characters into this except maybe she hulk and echo, and since those were not particularly well received I think they’d try to reintroduce both characters
