okay, I’ll admit this, I got Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus when it first came out
the big thing about that game is oh you punch girls and then they change into sexy outfits and then you punch the clothes off
it was funny and maybe arousing a few times
after that it was “I’m skipping this and getting back to the game part, thank you”
and now I live in a world where a there’s a loud keruffle over the part of the game you don’t play because a few textures are changed
it’s okay to be horny, but be healthy and compartmentalize it
when you don’t do that, we get things like Witch Toucher DS or the various SK spin-offs (which, uh, seem to be bad because they work backwards from sexy to game instead of game to sexy)

Well after a lot of hemming and hawing I am firmly committed to getting a regular Switch instead of a Lite, but it’s probably not happening soon unless I sell a bunch of my stuff to raise the funds for it.

the censorship I think is mostly silly but the backlash is even sillier
if the game originally shipped with tamer outfits and stuff no one would have even noticed, there’s nothing worse aesthetically about the changes. arguably some of them are improvements.
I definitely support them making an effort to not portray underage characters as sexualized though like that’s objectively good

I guess with Sonic 3 being stuck in foreverial legal limbo this is the second closest thing we’re going to get (unless SEGA actually remembers that they could actually port the widescreen Taxman ports that are still exclusive to phones)
(The upcoming SEGA Ages Switch port of Sonic 2 will let you play as Knuckles)

Funny thing is, I am pretty sure it’s just Sonic 3’s music that has caused the legal issues and S&K had a different composer (I think) and thus shouldn’t be affected. So Sega could be adding it to all their compilations etc on it’s own but they never do, I guess because it’s really just the second half of Sonic 3

anybody else having weird loading issues with some games on switch? like if you play a certain game on handheld mode it takes forever to boot and sometimes crashes? It happened to me with minecraft a lot
I’ve gotten it on the NES app (and I think that was an online check, I hit up the metro station wifi and the issue disappeared) and Groove Coaster, but with GC I just boot before when I think I’m going to play (which is on the metro) and the load times in game are instant, so 
Minecraft always takes forever to load for me, a long black screen before even the logos show up (and then there’s more loading from there). I thought perhaps it was no matter what mode it was in, but I’m realizing I’m almost always playing it in handheld mode. It also takes forever to log me into my Nintendo and Microsoft accounts and then even longer to load my saved character skins. It hasn’t ever crashed on me, but the boot takes a billion years.
My kid plays Minecraft on PS4 and the new version is absolute chugging shit
so i bought a switch lite
