yes
Raiden is really fun, but idk if it’s the play style i wanna go with? also your thoughts on the final battle have me spooked haha. i really want to learn Yaksha better, though. that said, seems like the fastest time to clear is with Ninja, followed by Kunoichi, so i’ll probably mess around with Kunoichi for a bit more to see if i can speed myself up.
i wish more games did what Cave did during the XB360 days, where you could download other people’s replays and learn from them.
Let me direct your attention to the recent Sega Ages Virtua Racing.
Y’all got a long road to beat Bebe
it’s like outrunning a bear
you just have to be faster than the slowest person
what is going on with the font sizes in fire emblem
Does anybody here play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon? Much like Chocobo Mystery Dungeon for Switch though this newly announced one for Switch is also a remake of the originals.
Shiren Vita next maybe?
that watercolor texturing is a much nicer interpretation of the original art than the apparently-canon rubber-balloons-all-the-way-down look of Pokemon Go and now Sword & Shield
pokemon mystery dungeon owns, the game makes you take a personality test to see what kind of pokemon you are at the beginning and then you form a direct action organization to improve the lives of your fellow pokemon
That personality test said I was Squirtle, a jolly jokester who loves to have fun…but sometimes the jokes go too far.
Clearly way more accurate than MBTI.
Love me some Shiren but PMD never made sense to me. I don’t think having a party makes a lot of game design sense in a mystery dungeon game. I think the complexity involved in all the different Pokemon types and combinations makes the tightness of the design of Shiren almost impossible, and so the games are more or less forced to fall back on experience based progression.
Even Vita Shiren isn’t as good as SNES Shiren - I think I made it 80% through the main dungeon on the first try and then could only beat the game by abusing the progression mechanics.
There’s a demo out for this new one right now. Does that contain this personality test too?
I never understood the appeal of Fushigi no Poke other than “it has Pokemon in it” because every time I’ve tried one of the games it just felt like the blandest and most bare bones rendition of a roguelike for babies
I guess I just answered my own question
I got Psyduck.
yep, and you can still choose if you dont like the result
pokemon mystery dungeon is fun cuz its easy and cute. like that other roguelike for babies on ds with the ninja girl
like its probably meant as a gateway game for children to play real mystery dungeon games but i like em when i just wanna see numbers not get tactical like when i play shiren
I got this game after playing tons of Shiren (it’s Izuna: Unemployed Ninja IIRC) and it was pretty alright!! Really, extremely, not bad.
Sequel was bad.
